The Richmond Men's Chorus takes you back to the 70s with their summer concert at the Glen Allen Cultural Arts Center on June 6 & 7.

GiveawayWe ran into our friends at the Richmond Men’s Chorus this weekend and they gave us a copy of their latest concert recording “We Are Family! Music from the 70s” to share with our readers.

It can be yours!  Comment with your favorite song from the era and tell us why.  Our team will pick their favorite response and we’ll announce the winner Friday.

If You Want Me to Stay – Sly and the Family Stone because this song is the shit because Sly Stewart knew how to do it back in the day.. It reminds me that the more things change, really the more things stay the same

Lovin’ You by Minnie Ripperton. Who else can sing those falsetto notes? Not even Mariah…

Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone, Just My Imagination, Runaway Child, Running Wild, Cloud Nine and I’m Gonna Make You Love Me are just a few by The Temptations that are great. They are the ultimate male group of any time. They conquered the 60s and 70s. Plus, They sing with Diana Ross on I’m Gonna Make You Love Me.
