Day of SilenceVCU’s Queer Action gears up for the Day of Silence this Friday with a full line-up of events taking place on the Monroe Park Campus:

Tuesday, April 14th
“Milk” – the Academy Award Winning film will be screened at the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs Room 215 of the University Student Commons, 2pm— OMSA Diversity Film Series

Wednesday, April 15th
“Bi-Chic or Biphobia?” Join us as we discuss bisexuality and biphobia in popular culture—LGBT Social Network Shockoe Room of the University Student Commons, 4pm

Thursday, April 16th
“Beyond the Binary: Gender Expression and Trans-Identity” Queer Action will be hosting a discussion on gender identity and expression. Shockoe Room of the University Student Commons, 8pm

Friday, April 17th NATIONAL DAY OF SILENCE
BREAK the Silence: Queer Open Mic Night! Join us for an evening of art, music, song, and poetry as we give voice to all those who have been silenced by anti-gay bullying and harassment. Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, Room 215 of the University Student Commons, 5pm
