We’re just a week away from the Monument Avenue 10K. Are you in need of some extra motivation to get you through your last leg of training? Terry Johnson can help. Tuesday evenings at 6:30, you’ll find him and a group of 10 others running a variety of locations around Richmond.
The jogs started informally about 4-5 years ago. Gradually as people in the community heard about the run, Terry took on the responsibility of sending out weekly e-mails.
His list has grown to 40 people – a mixture of fast runners, slow walkers and animal lovers. Some people bring along their dog.
“It’s not just a boring run,” he says. “I joined because I thought it would be a great way to get in shape and stay motivated since you aren’t just running all by yourself.”
The group meets rain or shine, but shuts down for winter.
To get on the list, e-mail Terry at terryajohnson@gmail.com.

There is evidently a lot for me to learn outside of my books. Thanks for the great read,
